IVECO TRAKKER
Hi-Comfort and Ergonomics
The cab of the New Trakker is designed around the driver. Class-leading ergonomics, comfort, safety and infotainment provide an optimum work environment that maximises productivity on every job. Three cab versions are available: - short (Hi-Land) - long (Hi-Track) - long with high roof (Hi-Track) The driver's seat plays a key role in the driver's work environment. On the New Trakker, it is equipped with: - integrated head restraint and seat belt - adjustable air suspension and a quick lowering device - seat swab adjustable for height, angle and depth (with optional heating) - adjustable seat back with lumbar support
Hi - Reliability
State-of-the-art gearboxes Reliable, efficient gearboxes The manual gearboxes on the New Trakker are 16-speed ZF units. They are perfectly tailored to the mission of the vehicle, and offer high levels of reliability, low maintenance costs and increased efficiency and productivity. The 16-speed mechanical gearbox is equipped with a servo-shift system for increased driver comfort and quick, precise gear changes.
Hi-Performance
Cursor 13
Power ratings from 380 to 440 HP
The Cursor 13 is a 12,880 cc, in-line six-cylinder engine available with three power ratings: - 380 and 420 waste gate - 440 with variable-geometry turbo (VGT). The Cursor 13 420 engine is equipped with Iveco's Combined Engine Brake. CEB: Double-acting engine brake The CEB – Combined Engine Brake is an uprated engine brake which combines two effects: decompression and braking torque. By means of a butterfly valve on the exhaust manifold, it generates sufficient exhaust gas counterpressure to slow the rotation of the engine and increase the braking force.
Hi-Robustness
Frame in high-yield-strength steel: A structure designed for extreme conditions One of the key strengths of all Iveco vehicles has always been the reliability and robustness of their frames, and these strengths are even more evident on the new New Trakker. Consisting of double-bottleneck, U-section rails in special steel, the frames are available in 2 thicknesses (7.7mm for applications in which tare weight is a priority and 10mm for the most demanding missions).
Hi-Safety
State-of-the-art control systems for off-road work The New Trakker offers advanced safety systems such as: - ABS - EBL - and as an option, ASR In off-road mode you can switch off the ABS so as to allow the wheels to lock (up to a maximum speed of 15km/h) - which is especially useful for tackling steep gradients with low grip. As soon as you exceed 15km/h, the ABS switches back on automatically. ABS The ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) prevents the wheels from locking during braking, regardless of the condition of the road surface. Signals from the ABS sensors mounted on the wheels provide precise information about the behaviour and reactions of each wheel during braking. The ABS is therefore capable of reducing braking force immediately before one or more wheels locks. If the state of the road surface allows sharper braking, the ABS increases the braking force again, up to the limit of grip.
The New Trakker offers various types of suspension, including mechanical suspension with parabolic or semi-elliptical leaf springs.
